Mother's Day - May 13th - All Day

All mothers will be given free admission to the Racine Zoo with a child admission. Coupons for Max & Jenny's Jungle Grill and the Zootique will be given out.

Father's Day - June 17 - All Day

All fathers will be given free admission to the Racine Zoo with a child admission. Aslan, the Zoo's male lion will be spotlighted along with the one-year old cubs. Coupons for Max & Jenny's Jungle Grill and the Zootique will be given out.

Orangutan Awareness

Opportunity to touch a hand cast from Max, one of our resident orangutans, and touch a sampling of Max's hair and various other primate skulls. Children will be encouraged to spend time coloring educational orangutan pictures, make orangutan masks, and have any questions they may have answered by Zoo's animal care specialists.

Additionally, numerous stations will showcase orangutan enrichment, orangutan diet, orangutan videos, and information about conservation.

The cost of attending the event is free; however, normal winter Racine Zoo admission prices will apply.
