...A WILD GIFT IDEA

Animal Adoption is an unusual gift and a unique way to contribute to your zoo.

With your donation, you can become a Zoo Parent with the Animals Depend on People Too (A.D.O.P.T.) Program for an animal at the Racine Zoo for an entire year. Your animal will remain at the Zoo where you can visit it all year long. By adopting an animal you are directly contributing to its growth and wellbeing. The Racine Zoo A.D.O.P.T. program assists in providing the best possible food, care, and shelter for the Zoo's animals.

There are many different species to A.D.O.P.T. at Racine Zoo, ranging from an orangutan, African penguin, black rhino to a red kangaroo. We also have special zoo plants to A.D.O.P.T. too!

See below for a full list of animals and plants to A.D.O.P.T.

Zoo animals and plants are sometimes moved to another zoo or like all living things,
may die. If that occurs, sponsorship will be transferred to another animal or plant.
